The Microsoft IT Academy annual event took place at their Cardinal Place offices in London Victoria on Wednesday 4th June and was a great success. With interesting and informative presentations from Microsoft and IT Academy partners, the day was also a great opportunity for IT Academy members to meet up and learn about the latest technology innovations.
Attended by 200 people, the event featured presentations by e-Skills, Learning and Skills Council, John Wiley & Sons, University of West of Scotland, Cornwall College and Microsoft. Martin Webb at Bromsgrove School was awarded for his contribution towards Microsoft Office Certification by Certiport at the Annual Event.
Microsoft IT Academies were able to come together to network with other academies and to share best practice on Microsoft training and certification. Certiport provided support and guidance to the schools, colleges, training providers and Universities attending the event, and value the opportunity of seeing how they have progressed since joining the Microsoft IT Academy Program and becoming a Certiport Testing Centre. In addition, this was a great forum for discussing the new opportunities for Microsoft Certified Application Specialist and Adobe Certification qualifications available from Certiport.
