Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS)

Microsoft Certified Application Specialist: Certification for Office 2007 comes under the banner of Microsoft Business Certification (MSBC). Microsoft has taken a fresh approach in order to better meet the needs of today's business workers.

Microsoft Certified Application Specialist

The first of the new certifications is the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) credential. This is a globally recognised standard that validates skills with the 2007 Microsoft Office system as well as with the Windows Vista operating system. The successor to Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), the MCAS credential meets the demand for the most up-to-date skills using the latest technologies from Microsoft.

  • Exam 77-600: Microsoft Windows Vista for the Business Worker
  • Exam 77-601: Using Microsoft Office Word 2007
  • Exam 77-602: Using Microsoft Office Excel 2007
  • Exam 77-603: Using Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007
  • Exam 77-604: Using Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
  • Exam 77-605: Using Microsoft Office Access 2007

Microsoft Certified Application Specialist - Skills

Coming soon, the Microsoft Certified Application Professional (MCAP) credential is validates advanced capabilities utilising the 2007 Microsoft Office system and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server sites to collaborate across boundaries. The credential crosses industries and job roles to focus on critical areas of responsibility for business workers.
